Wine and Dine Evening
Sunday, March 4, 2012 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Touch base with old friends and make new ones while enjoying a delicious dinner. The host provides the venue house, sets the table for 6 or 8 (or the number that the host designates), orchestrates the menu and, if the host wishes, also prepares a course. Hosts who want to theme the evening and focus on food from a specific country can make suggestions to the guests (perhaps also providing recipes for the dishes). Guests are assigned to a home and contacted by the host; they bring the course requested by the host (appetizer, entrée, salad or dessert) and a bottle of wine or other drink to share. Everyone is encouraged to participate (singles too).
